How fast can you get to me in a lockout?
Inside town we average 28 minutes, day or night. When you call we give you the van's honest ETA — and a text link so you can watch it arrive.
Will opening my door damage the lock?
In 9 out of 10 lockouts, no. We pick or bypass first and only drill as a last resort — with your permission and a fixed price agreed before we touch anything.
How much will it cost? Do you charge a call-out fee?
Standard visits start at $29, most repairs at $39, and full security fits at $59 — see pricing. The price we confirm on the phone is the price you pay; there is no separate call-out fee inside our service area.
Can you make a key from just a photo or a broken one?
Broken key in hand? Yes — we decode it and cut a fresh one. From a photo alone, only for a few standard blanks; car and high-security keys need the lock or code card. Ask us first and we will tell you straight.
Should I repair my lock or replace it?
If the body is solid and parts exist, repair is cheaper and just as good. If it is worn, unbranded, or older than 15 years, replacement with a Grade-1 pick-resistant lock costs little more and lasts decades.
Are smart locks actually safe?
The good ones are — encrypted, with a physical key backup and tamper alarms. We only fit models we would put on our own doors, and we set them up securely before we leave. See our Key Alarm System service.
Do you guarantee your work?
Yes — 90 days on labour plus the manufacturer's warranty on parts (usually 2–5 years). If a fitted lock misbehaves in that time, we come back and make it right, free.
